Certificate IV in Spoken and Written English
The Certificate in Spoken and Written English IV Further Studies is designed specifically for students who want to continue their studies at tertiary level and/or wish to sit for an IELTS exam. A typical entry level would be IELTS 5.0 and above.
The focus is on equipping students with the skills required to study at a tertiary institution in any English speaking country. The course covers academic writing and reading, which includes planning and writing of essays, correct referencing convention, critical evaluation and research skills. Students also study note taking, oral presentation and exam techniques.
