Sasithaya Akharaborirak, Thailand Diploma of Hairdressing Salon Management
Why Academia? Academia International is the best option out of all the academic colleges I looked at. With a wide range of the latest techniques, fantastic facilities, two hairdressing salons open to the public and very defined modules. The diversity of practical techniques and theory modules is what made academia different from other colleges, this course has proved to be worth all the efforts I put in to get here. I was amazed and pleased to discover the variety of disciplines the course offers. The lecturers are all professional, very resourceful and helpful. Coming to college has broadened my horizons. Everyone I have met is so friendly and I have had the chance to mix with people from all over the world. Studying at academia is a great experience and I would advise any international student to do the same. I am more then grateful that I decided to study at Academia International. I am.

ALON EZRA,
Israel Diploma of Hospitality Management (Commercial Cookery)
I always knew I would be a chef. I came to Australia almost two and a half years ago and continued that dream. I worked in some fantastic restaurants across Victoria and this is when I came to realise what this country has to offer in the hospitality industry. With the many cultures and their range of cuisines I knew this was where I should further develop my skills. After a long search for the perfect school I came across Academia International, I had an interview and was immediately impressed with not only the facilities they had to offer but also the atmosphere and all the friendly faces. Now, after a year of studying with Academia I am overwhelmed with how far I have progressed. The teachers here teach with such passion that it makes learning so enjoyable. They are patient & genuinely care about the students which I think can be rare. Now I am working for one of the most successful Italian restaurants in Melbourne, and without the training and guidance that I have received so far from Academia, I am sure I would not be looking forward to my next year of study and fulfilling my dreams like I am.

Eyal Masliah,
France Diploma of Hospitality Management (Commercial Cookery)
I was very impressed at the high standard it has to offer. The college looked professional from the start and located in the centre of Melbourne's central shopping and business district. Staff are very friendly and supportive. Academia has been very flexible to meet my needs for example when I needed time off they worked with me to make sure my study did not suffer. In 2004 I planned my trip to Australia because I heard Australian's are very nice and friendly so I wanted to see for myself. I am enjoying my time at Academia and look forward to spending a lot more time in Australia as it is a beautiful country.

The teachers are very supportive, understandable for my difficulties while I am studying since I come from the country has English as the second language. Teachers try to use easier words, explain slowly, deeply for all the whole class to understand. Junko Honda, Japan Diploma of Hospitality Management (Patisserie)
Hi, my name is Junko Honda. I am from Japan. I have been to Australia about 3 years. At first I only wanted to learn English in Australia but as time went by I fell in love with Australia. Hence I decided to study Patisserie at Academia International College because becoming a famous pastry cook has been my dream since I was a child and my migration agent told me that if I studied Patisserie, I could apply Permanent Residency . Then I tried to find out some information about colleges that offer Patisserie course. Luckily I found Academia International College. For me the biggest attraction of Academia was that Academia International College has an affiliation with Langham Hotel so the students can go to Langham Hotel to have a work experience while they are studying at Academia. Also Academia was the only one that has all the practical classes in the same building so I don’t have to travel around a lot. The other important issue for me at that time was, I wanted to study in a real international college. There were a lot of colleges that had only one or two nationalities dominating the whole colleges which I didn’t like. In Academia, I truly enjoyed the real multicultural environment while I was studying and eventually I have received my Permanent Residency after I graduated my study at Academia. I sincerely appreciate Academia and truly recommend prospect students to go and visit Academia and start your academic journey with Academia International College. Now I am working 7 days a week to save some money to buy a house. I want to meet a lot more Academia graduates to succeed in their future lives. Thank you.

Guy Sinvani, Israel Diploma in Hospitality Management (Commercial Cookery)
Why Academia? Academia is truly an International College with more than 40 nationalities across the world. A key difference with Academia is that there is not a single dominant nationality. Other colleges have up to 90% of their student base coming from a single Nationality. The first impression of Academia is how clean it is plus its facilities are all in house you do not have to take public transport to go to rented kitchens or salons. Academia’s Trainers are professional, well organized and extremely supportive knowing that their majority of students do not have English as their first language. Come and join me at Academia International and attend one of the best schools in a one of the world’s best multicultural city Melbourne Australia.

Stuart Cottrel, United Kingdom Diploma in Hospitality Management (Commercial Cookery)
I moved over from the UK 14 months ago with my wife and three children and have settled in the suburbs of Melbourne. We planned to buy a restaurant business which we did so In January 2008 in leafy Warrandyte. Having being involved in the hospitality trade several years ago, I felt it crucial that I took a refresher course to not only enable me to understand the latest changes in the industry, but also to develop my practical cooking skills. I researched Academia for it's credentials and facilities and enrolled on the hospitality course. I have not been let down. The teachers are adept to understanding all students needs, are experienced and have offered an exceptional level of service which is and will fulfil all the needs that I require to boost the success of my business. |

Radhesh Pandey,
India Diploma of Hospitality Management (Commercial Cookery)
I want to summarize my 2 years tenure in Academia International as today I have successfully completed my Diploma of Hospitality Management course & for that 1st of all I want to thank the Almighty who blessed me & so I got the power to go through all the challenges which come in between. Adding up to this I really appreciate the helping hands of all Academia International trainers and staff with whom I have studied, as wherever I got any confusion in proving myself as the better student they guide me so very cooperatively at that same moment. I got chance to study from about 16 trainers & everybody was impressive and very professional. They not only given us lectures but also entertain us in between classes to boost up our energy. The surrounding environment is really very good-the campus itself which located in the heart of the Melbourne city, which makes the whole thing very easy specially for overseas students, as far as transport is concerned The big, hygienic, well equipped, well managed kitchens. The classmates who belong to many different countries and so I feel it very interesting because I come to know about different characters, who have different food habits & vice versa. I surely spent the great time in Academia International. I can say my experience at Academia International in one word and that’s “Awesome”.
